Just want to let everyone know that 7 days ago I closed my bank acct, wrote letters to illegal lenders and got a PIF email from Great Plains today! There is a small light at the end of the long tunnel! Thanks!

On 10/17/2012, my wife received a phone call from (806)397-0019. The man on the phone claimed to be Frank Roberts a professional locator. He told my wife that he needed to deliver charges and paperwork to me. When she asked questions he refused to answer. When I picked up the phone, he said that he needed to deliver charges and paperwork to me. I asked who it was from and he said that he could not tell me and that I needed to call (888)816-9092 and that the case number is 188528. When I called, the lady on the phone told me that it is a debt from a payday loan company on June 26, 2008.

I am in MA and today at work I got a got from someone who only gave his first name saying he was giving me a heads up about a processor serving me. The office manager tried to get out of him where he was calling from and he wouldn't tell her. He also told her I was being served at work.. She told him this business does not accept this type of call and he would not be allowed to serve me.. then she hung up on him.. Is this a scam and can they serve you even when the loans are illegal?

I am a north carolina resident and have recently gotten myself in a PDL nightmare with a few companies. I am now being contacted by a Phillips and Roth, National Processing Group, Prestige Arbitration Services all of these in regards to payday loans I had. I had a payday loan with rockford, ssm group llc, m1y direct and plain green pay day loans. I have recently found that pay day loans are illegal in NC but these debt people are ON MY BACK. I have recently emailed all of the original lendors and let them know what I found in regards to NC law. What else can I do??

So I'm trying to send emails to Discount Advances and MyCashNow to inform them of their illegality and my overpayment via previous loans. I cannot find an email address for either one. Only a phone number. I have already closed my bank account and notified my employer to block any wage assignment. This Friday will be the day these loans become due in full if I don't extend them byThursday at 6pm. How should I go about this? Just let the current loans come due and wait to hear from them? Please help! I feel I'm almost done with all this trouble....

I am considering defaulting on 2 loans, one with United Cash loans and Seaside. I have paid 180.00 on a 300.00 with United and owe Seaside about 50.00 on a 600.00 loan. I plan on paying the principal but both of these are illegal lenders, so I should only pay back the principal. What the chances they would create a check on my bank instead of trying ACH? I really don't want to close the checking account. I haven't sent them anything yet as I have almost 2 weeks before my next payment.

I was just contacted by a person claiming to be an attorney representing Cash America. He threatened me that I will be arrested in the morning if I didn't come up with $689.25 today. He can't tell me what payday loan company this is for. He said I would be held in jail for 12 days because it is bad check writing, stealing, and more things that became a blur for me. I became really upset & started crying. I told him I was bed ridden & on disability. I can't even walk. He assured me I would still be arrested. I asked how I could stop that & he asked me when I could pay it in full.

Today, I got a call for d. santos. I do not know this person and yet i keep getting calls from like yours. I am very tired of this because when I tell them He does not live here. They laugh. I was laughed my one your managers today. He stopped when I will be contacting a lawyer and I mean it

my wages are being garnished by Midland Funding, I never received any notification, what do I do?
