I'm trying to get rid of my debt, and found debtconsolidation.com on line, I called and they are supposed to give non biased info regarding your debt situation, but they seemed to favor debt settlement. It sounds like a great way to get rid off debt, and I understand the pros and cons, but it almost sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this firm or any other? Any suggestions/recommendations? I'm also meeting with the National Foundation of credit counseling next week, any feedback on them? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

2 days after i registered with this forum igot a call from a counselor,he got interrupted and said he would call back in five minutes. i'm still waiting though i have contacted a few dmp companies on my own.why no callback??

Well, after 3 months I havent heard a word from my cash now regarding a 1000 payday loan I defaulted on. what gives? have they forgotten about me or just charged it off to a collection agency. They MAY be phoning, I never answer 800 or out of state numbers, so if they dont leave mesages then they may be calling, but no letters in the mal ever

I have about six payday loans totaling about 3000.00 without the "fees". I contacted Langhorne debt solutions for help and they recommended I close my current bank account, so that they could not debt my account any more and call them back and they would negotiate my repayments for a fee and limited power of attorney So... I have now closed my bank account and have not opened a new account yet, and have not signed on with Langhorne either. Here are the questions... 1. Should I use a service like Langhorne? 2.

I was not sure where to post this...As I have posted in the past, I had war with Churchill Resolution. I sent a debt validation request and they kept calling and harassing me. I called them on it and they admitted they handled my "case" incorrectly...Today I received a letter in the mail from them. It is a cover page and four pages of legal stuff I do not understand.
