Hi - I'm confused about the loan I have out with Blue King (a tribal lender). It was an internet loan for $400. So far I have made two interest payments of $106 each for a total of $212 paid. I live in Colorado and I know that a lender must be licensed in Colorado for a payday loan here to be legal. How do I find out if Blue King is licensed in CO? Any tips and tricks for dealing with them? I fully intend to repay the principal of the loan.

I got an automated email this morning saying my account with Oasis Marketing had been sent to National Credit Adjustors 866-660-1626 I sent Oasis a couple of emails within the past couple of weeks advising them that my loan with them was illegal. I also provided dates and amounts showing that I had overpaid. At first, they sent me a copy of my contract stating that I was held to their terms under Nevada law. I sent them a copy of the original email.

Can anyone tell me if internet payday loans are legal in Texas?

I got a call from these guys about a payday loan from Western Sky for 1,500. Basicly I was in a rut from multiple pay day loans, and with all the money being taken out from these other ones, I was never even able to afford to make a payment to westernsky. Ive since then gotten most of the PDL's off my back, alot thanks in part to the advice I got from here. However I got a call today from Frontier Financial, I asked about a VD, they said it was sent 2 weeks ago. He then said theres a fraud complaint being filed against me because I never made a payment.

Looking over some of the loan documents - it seems as if I have to notify all PDL's within 3 days of due date that I revoke their ACH withdrawal privileges and as I keep looking thru the documents - I dont see anything about voluntary wage garnishments.

Good Day Everyone - I have a loan w/ Paramount Cash and I sent them the awesome letter revoking any wage assignment. They replied saying that "lent in good faith etc" and said they do not settle. I offered to pay them the prinicipal minus any payments already made. What should my response be reagrding that they do not settle? Thanks, Luke

The mrs romero that refuses to call my cell but insist on calling my job works for Total recovery solutions. She called my job today and informed the lady answering the phone to give me a message. The message stated I needed to call her back by 1pm and that she had already spoken to my hr department, even gave her name. I spoke with the hr person and she said she hadn't talked to anyone, but her vm says her name and human resources so we are guessing that's how she got it. I called the number back, which is how I got the company name and of course it went to a vm to leave a message.

ARGH. Unfortunately, I had to take a loan from Ace (and another smaller one from what I now know to be a completely illegal source). On Friday, I completed the online electronic documents to refinance the loan and pay only the fee until the next cycle when I can pay the balance. Lo and behold, the jerks went ahead and took the entire sum out of my account anyway. They claim I missed something on the paperwork (really? How then was I able to complete the transaction?) and that they called and left a message (bullhockey. No call. No message). I am LIVID.

Hi I've been stuck in payday loans for the past year, and now I have 2 online pdl's in kansas. I found the state laws, which limit the loan amount to $500, but both of my loans were for more than that($1000 & $600) It sounds like that alone makes the loans invalid. And Unless they are listed under another name i didn't not see either listed as being liscenced in kansas( Plaingreenloans,& cashnetusa). I also see where it says criminal action prohibited. So would your advice be to email them stating that "These are illegal loans", and close my bank account?

:confused:So I have been posting recently, but now am reconsidering what I have done. I am in MO and sent 2 emails to the illegal lenders that I have loans with. I still have Payday one, Cashnet usa and check n go left to deal with. Problem is, I had started last week dealing with a consolidation company called Credit Advisors out of Omaha. Now that I think I have my loans down to three, is it better to deal with them on my own? If so, I have no idea what kind of payment plan to accept or offer?? Please any advice on what to do now is appreciated.
