we agreed on a settlement payoff over the phone and I told them to sent it to me in writing and I would then mail them a money order or check. So yesterday I did recieve the letter with the agreement but it also states in the letter that i need to call by the 26th ( Tommorow) and do a pay by phone check. If i don't call by then the offer would be void. I never agreed to a pay by phone check. Should I try calling them back and tell them i dont feel comfortable giving my checking account info over the phone? Will they care?
