hubby in hospital how 2 make pdl arrangments

18 years 4 months ago
My husband has four PDL's out. He is in the hospital and don't know what is going to happen. Is there some way I can make payments arrangements with these people. They are draining our account. I am primary on the account he used to get the loan so I can close it without his consent but I do want to at least pay off the principle of he owes them.

Can I go to jail.

18 years 4 months ago
I know that generaly you wont face charges if you default on payday loans, but what if you close your bank account?? I've reached a point after many, many years of payday loans where I can no longer pay. I was thinking of closing my bank account to avoid multible NSF fees. Is this a bad idea? I don't plan on stiffing the payday loan folks, but for the time being I really can't pay them. I'm two months behind on my car payment, and i must make a payment before they reposses. I called a few of my payday loan lenders and they were less than supportive. Is there any other way out?

Keep alert for a name change

18 years 4 months ago
I have a payday loan with what was called 3-midland market. All of a sudden they have changed their debiting name to MidlandFinancial. Just wanted to give everybody a head's up! Doesn't seem like something a legal-licensed company would do...hmmm And I have BBB going after getcashman.com..I'm starting there and seeing where it goes. Wish me luck!

Has any on heard of Powerfunding?

18 years 4 months ago
Has any one heard of PowerFunding? I have a payday loan with them for 300.00 and I think I have overpaid them. I received the loan on 06-15-07 and have been paying a refinancing fee of 90.00 since then. I need them to stop debiting my checking account. Thanks,HAM

When it rains it pours!

Well last night I spent a great deal of time in the ER. My 8 year old has pnemonia. Also, his insurance will not pay for one of the prescriptions until I can get the doctor to fax over a realese on Monday so I had to pay for that too. Woohoo! Not. Luckily Walgreens will reimburse me after they get the go ahead from that insurance comapny. He gets his insurance through his disability. I thought a perscription from a DR was saying that it is important that the patient has this. Gah!

Stupidity with credit cards.

18 years 4 months ago
I am very much in debt, living paycheck to paycheck by racking up credit cards. I also did it behind my husbands back to keep our family afloat. He just recently found out about it and it all hit the fan. Actually, he was pretty calm. Anyways, I'm not sure where to turn now. I have been speaking with 2 debt relief programs, but it's a little scary. We have no lates on our credit reports, but our debt to income ratio is way too high. Also, it would take years to pay off the cards. Any ideas?
