I have some credit card debt that i cannot pay, due to my childs illness and I cannot work. I was planning on getting married and someone told me that i need to check into this before I get married. Is it true that te future spouse will be responceable for the debt?

i live in MA and want to know what to do to get rid off these pdls as well as my other bills,medical and debt.is there aqnyone that can take me through the process of becoming debt free?

I seem to have gotten myself into the same troubles I am reading about on this forum. However I am not finding any information regarding the state I live in, Wisconsin. I did look up the link on the states information and it didn't look promising, it showed no limits, etc. I did borrow all my money over the internet so i don't know if that makes a difference, I have borrowed from a bunch (trying to keep up) I know some were check into cash, check n go, payday one, united cash, mte financials, mycash now....any advice on where to start?

Got the hospital bill for my son today. For a 45 minute ER visit it is 1,253.00 dollars. 35 dollars for supplies is included. I will be going to the school Monday to present them this bill. Also, strangely enough my son Brent told me he fell in the cafeteria and that his teacher would not let him go to the nurse. I've met his teacher and find that to be a bit strange but his knee is very swollen right now. i'm waiting for my sister in law to come take a look at him before I take him to the hospital.

I have a letter from a CA. In it is the sentence: "A portion of this claim has been assigned to ******* Law Firm, which must in join in any settlement or release". Anyone know what that means in English? Thanks.

Well, in the ongoing saga of me trying to muddle through all this debt listed on my and hubby’s credit reports I get a letter from ERS Solutions holding an old Washington Mutual account of mine. Only thing is it is for 400 some odd bucks and I don’t remember it ever being that high! So of course I DV them. They send me some bank statements and the amounts match up, but the weird thing is there is a whole truckload of returned check charges.

Can payday loans be included? I am paying an attorney payments on a unsecured loan, can that be included too?
