Ok...I got a summons in the mail. There is no court date. I got the summons last Friday and was planning on getting to this today. Well...it is Columbus Day and the clerk of courts office is closed. so, I called the attoney listed on the summons. The operator told me that some other woman was handling this account. I got her voice mail and she is not an attoney but a debt collector. I am confused. Am I being sued or not? What is my next step? I am not interested in playing games. My finances are a mess and my husband and I want to get this all cleaned up.

I do not know who was using my id yesterday on the forum in regards to the negative comments about cajun but I want all of you to know that it was not me. I repect cajun and would never ever disrespect him. They were using my screen name as lady bug and was signed in a guest. I need a small loan (2500) to pay off high interest credit cards and pdls. I am thinking of trying prosper online as i have heard good things. i am definitely high risk as my credit score is about 560. Is there any hope of getting funded? Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!

I have a HArd Inquiry by a CA. I did a vod letter and they responded with a letter sayoing they would not attemp to collect with validation. 1. can I remove the hard inquiry or shoudl it even be there? 2. CAn I not get the Credit bureaus to remove the items since the CA has reponded in this manner?

I had a pdl through this company. But now I have some great news for any of you who have a storefront loan with them. If you cannot pay the rollover fees you can go into the store on your DUE DATE (not a day late!!! ) And tell them you want to enter into an installment agreement.They cannot deny you that. Then you will fill out paperwork and on your next paydate you will start making payments. They stop all fees, they will not deposit your check. But the thing is they will break it down into 4 payments. So your next 4 paydates you will pay it off and they will give you your check back then.
