Okay, I received an email from a pdl. It says "thank you for paying your loan in full" and that I can now get another loan for a "discounted fee". Ummm... I didn't pay them off. Maybe they got my complaints and were contacted by the agencies? All I know is that it states right on there "Thank you for paying your loan in full." To me, that's written documentation from them that it is marked paid in full. You think? I really don't care. I have an email saying it is. And you can bet your ass I have it printed off and put with everything else I have from them.

Okay. Got two more responses from the AG today. This is the THIRD letter and they get harsher each time. This one states that the companies (yes, I will tell you who) failure to respond to them indicates complete unwillingness to cooperate with the Division of Consumer Protection and that if they refuse to respond in 2 weeks, it will be presumed that the complaint is legitimate and will be forwarded and reviewed for appropriate action.
