This is a thank you to you all here at debtcc. I know I've said it before, but this is an official thank you to you. I have had all of you express concern and care towards me. I have had people donate to me. I have had more pm's than you can imagine. I have never received so much support before in my entire life. You've really made an impact on me. Thanks to you all, I have received my debtcc points and they are being used to keep the electricity on so that I am able to continue to live a normal life and also to be able to communicate with you.

Not much information about them, can't find a thing on the internet except that the phone number (3043262276) is a land line in Clarksburg, WV. When I requested debt validation the woman I spoke to on the phone said "we sent you a letter in August, your 30 days is up honey, that's why I'm calling you today) and the only thing she was willing to send me was a bill from them.

My mother received a call from Asset Management Professionals (AMP on our caller ID). Their number is 888-355-7515. They told my mom that my dad had bounced a check at a local pet store for over $300 back in January of 2005. Yes, 2005. What's more, the address given for the check was an old one we have not lived at for seven years. They knew his social security number and where he works. The check is in his name only, but my parents have only one account and they share it.

Thanks to the help of Volleyballmom, I am on my way to getting my HORRIBLE pdl situation taken care of.. Now... I'm on my way to cleaning up my credit report, but I have few questions first. *I reside in IL* Ok, so the whole 7 year rule of it staying on your credit report ~ is it 7 years from the DATE OPEN or DATE CLOSED?? If it's 7 years from the date open then there are quite a few blemishes.. If you have an account that has been open for 7 years and it includes late payments, BUT it's paid off, can I dispute that? Thank you for all your help!!! :P

I've just been sued twice the two summons for oct to court and I have no idea what I'm doing, I'm shaking so bad right now scared as all hell. One of the account is still in the original creditors hands and they've sent me past statements for validation, the other is from Midland Credit who bought the account and sent me some crappy printout of their computer screen which I didnt think was a validation at all as it doesnt tell me where the charges came from or anything.

Hello everyone, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth or forgotten about you guys, just super busy at work, and right now, that is the only access I have to the internet. Still plugging away at my PDL Hell....I guess I have been quite lucky as far as phone calls go...haven't really been getting any....other than the jerk from Nationwide Cash, but even he has stopped calling....my state has been in contact with them, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I received a letter in August about settling my debt. I did not have the funds at that time and did not call. I have spoken with the debt collector that now has my account and even paid $1000.00 off of the debt. They now want to know where the money is coming from. I stated from my sister. They now MUST know where she is getting the money from to pay my debt or they can not give me an extention to pay this off. Is this correct and how can I get around this collection person?????????????

If anyone can help I would REALLY appriciate it!! I have to to replace my radiator, on my car. I don't have the money, for this!! I've put off payments, on different things, thins month and STILL won't have enough money!! I would be 'short', about $200.00. I have asked EVERYONE I know, for money. I just don't know what to do. Citi bank told me that I can't get an arrangement because I have exhausted by arrangements - but I only had 2 - you are allowed three - anybodyknow of anyone that can help me - I want to pay them off - but they won't give me anything except for a match program - I pay an amount and they match it with the same amount - but you can't do that but once - I owe over 3 thousand dollars to these people!

I have a payday loan and it looks like you can get out of them easy if you follow your directions. I guess I think that it may be better to ignore them since they really cant get me frm what you are saying
