what can i do to help my credit

I am a resident of Kansas. I have four store-front loans and about five Internet payday loans. Please, is there any help??

I have 3 loans outstanding and they are breaking me. They are all Internet Companies or at least that is were I found them and I live in Oregon Paydayone.com $300. due Oct 22 -nothing paid yet Cashnetusa.com $300. Due Oct 24 - nothing paid yet Staradvance.com $400. bal of 217.80 due 9/28 and I have repaid almost $300 already. So there you have it. I end up getting new loans every 7 days and paying bank check charges during that week. I have to do something or I am going to start losing stuff.. thanks

I have been working with a Lisa Jackson from the Florida Department of Financial Regulation and have not heard from her in quite some time. I have sent her quite a few emails and no response. I was just curious if any other Floridians have had luck with their battles??

I have recently been served with a summons from a collection agency for an old credit card I had. They tell me if I can pay it in full by Oct. 18, there will not even be a judgment filed. Now I know judgments are very, very bad on your credit report. But my problem is that my credit already has a number of public records on it, and my score is really low--like around 450. So what I am wondering is, how much will it really benefit me if I manage to scrape up the money to pay it off by Oct. 18, so that no judgment is filed? It will be a hardship, but may be possible.

Has anyone heard of a company called OCC? I got a message from them 2 days ago saying that I needed to call by the end of the day. Already assuming that it was someone trying a scam I ignored it and erased the message, but I was curious to see if anyone knew of this company.

Hello, Can someone please respond to me. I'm drowing in Cash Store Debt. My account is currently overdrawn. I called Huskhawk Marketing today and they said I could send in the full amount today with money order that would stop payment from trying to pull from my account tomorrow. Does anyone know if this place is for real. I'm so scared to send the money order and they still owe them money. The man said mail the payment to Charelstown West, Indies

If some of the PDLs that are refusing to settle with me or give me PIFs, do go ahead and manage to put a derogatory mark on my credit report, what can I do? I think I read somewhere on here that I could send a debt validation letter? Do I send it to the PDL or the credit bureau? Then, do I claim it is an illegal and invalid loan, therefore, they have to remove it? Thanks for all your great knowledge!

It surely does not stay quiet for long... Received this just a few moments ago and am giggling to myself. I guess they did not get the letter, e-mail or faxes that I sent. And exactly how are they going to take legal action? Illegal pay day loan company taking legal action. Isn't that an oxymoron or just moronic? I guess I need to gofind that letter and mail it again!!

I just got a call from this number 800-918-3849. They threatened me with legality mumbo jumbo, arrest, court dates and all sorts of crap. I know the loan they are talking about and I paid it through another company. When I asked them why I hadn't recieved anything from them via mail they rattled off my correct address MINUS the right zip code. Of course I wouldn't have gotten anything from them right? Well I told them I could send them whatever they needed to take care of this. She proceeds to put ME on hold. WTH?! You called me now you want me to keep holding? I don't think so.
