I did a stupid thing... After losing my job I moved and did notify any of my creditors and I also haven't paid any of my bills for a very long time. Is there still hope for me?

I read the recent posts and I need some additional help. I have asked them to help with repayment of my loan and to defer the balance until the end of October because my financial position had changed. I got the same nasty person and responses. I have asked to be connected with this persons boss and have gotten nowhere. Any ideas where I should go from here?

I signed up to this site for help with my expanding PDL issues, and I ran across a few ppl talking about how much Longhorne has help them with consolidating their PDLs, well with just my luck I live in the sun shiny state of good ol FL, and Longhorne does not provide assistance for FL residence.... I would really like to know if anyne knows of a company that would help? :oops:

I checked my credit reports last month, and I found that one account showed up as in collection with Palisades Collections. It was from a Verizon charge that I paid in 2003. I have the cleared check to prove that I paid the debt. Should I approach Palisades or should I dispute the issue with the credit reporting agencies? If Palisades, how do I approach them since I have seen no prior evidence of this debt? I thought I had taken care of everything!

Hey everyone! Cannr I'm so sorry to read the stress those idiots brought to you yesterday. Hopefully you're feeling better today. When describing the complaint on the NDBF form, do i need to get into detail as to why I took the loan out? I'm not the letter writer in the family..hubby is..but he didn't have anything to do with the loans and with as many problems that I've caused already, I don't feel like I have a right to ask him to help me with this. So I'm turning to you guys.

My husband he received a letter from a collection agency (Unifund in Cincinnati) about a Citibank South Dakota account. My husband never had a Citibank card. He did have a Providian account that was charged off, but it no longer appears on his credit report (it's been over 8 years since the charge off). We want to deal with this immediately. Please advise as to what kind of letter I should send. Thank you!
