I filled out information on possibly getting a payday loa thru money mutual. The next day mass street lending deposited 300.00 into my account. _I realized this right before the first payment was due. I let them take out 3 payments. I closed my bank act and sent them a email stating it is illegal for them to provide a loan to me in. Iowa per the state laws. I offered to pay the remaining 30 dollars. They sent me to a collector call egs who threated my mother that I would be put in jail until my court date.

I've seen several posts on here saying things like "I should have never went with COMPANY X to consolidate my debt, I should have just done it myself!" My questions is: how do you do it yourself? What are some tips for doing it on your own without having to go through a consolidation company and worry about fees, possible scams, etc? Do you just call each individual credit card company and try to negotiate?

Ok, so, I have payday loans by these online "lenders". After finding this amazing website with all you LOVELY people, I have dealt with some of these places. The lenders I borrowed from are: Mass street group VIP Cash cure Cash call Vin capital Vin capital I've had a battle with for the past few days. The guy I've been emailing is being a jerk and won't budge. He will debit $200 on my next "paydate" even though I have revokes authorization maybe 4 times. If he can't, then they are going to send my loan to collections.

I received a letter from Asset Acceptance trying to collect a credit card debt they bought from Wells Fargo Bank. I pulled up my reports: WF reported my balance at 1507.00 but Asset is charging me 1562.13 and apparently continuing to add interest. Can they add more fees? I also noticed on one CR it shows my last payment amount with WF June 2010 while on another CR it shows Dec 2010? Why would these dates be different?
