I keep getting calls from these people about an old payday loan debt from 1998 that the SOL expired on in 2002. I know that if the SOL have expired they legally can't do anything. All they can do is continue to harass me. So, I really shouldn't worry.

OK- you legally only have to pay back the principal on a payday loan right? Especially if they are NOT licensed in your state correct?

I received an e-mail from Payday Loan Yes...(CashNet) today... we are experiencing a problem with your checking account and I was instructed to contact Tim Atkins, Branch Manager. YA THINK!!! Yest there is a problem with my account, you people have robbed me blind...... Anyway....I was going to e-mail him back with a copy of the letter I sent, faxed etc. Should I. Like I have said. I would much rather argue in writing, a) I am better at it and b) then I have written documentation. I also would at least like to be available for contact in an effort to keep them from calling me.

Company/Individual reported: magnum z llc I applied for a payday advance but the sums that offered did not convince me and were not able to satisfy my needs so I left it like that. On august 27, 2007 I recieve a deposit of $250.00 in my account which I did not authorize from a company called magnum z llc. I have tried to contact them but have gotten no reply whatsoever. Received several letters that were cc'd to me by the Florida Department of Financial Regulations Crime and Fraud Unit...(don'tcha love the sound of that??) In regards to my old, old, old PDLS...They're putting the pressure on them and am waiting for a response. The letter included the Florida Consumer Finance Act, Chapter 516, Florida Statutes. Section 516.02. It's been a little over 2 years since I dug myself out of the bottom of that barrel and still fighting them!! There is HOPE!!!! Don't give up everybody! :D Oh..almost forgot.

I have student loans that have been delinquent and have come to the point where if i do not take a settlement offer or pay in full, it will go to court. I also have a similar situation with a credit card. I made two large payments, switched jobs, and was unable to continue payments, so they are going to probably sue me too. i need help, i need to pay off these delinquent accounts and clear my credit. but due to my delinquent accounts, i was told i would not get a loan. So how in the world am i supposed to come up with this money?

One Click Cash claims that I owe them $675 for a $300 loan. Is there any letter I can send to offer settle? Can these companies hit my credit report? Thanks!

Hi, everyone, I was wondering if anyone has heard of Churchill Resolution. They say they are collecting on a pdl with CMG Group. I received a letter from them a few days ago and then received a phone call today that was kind of strange. I would like to make payment arrangements with them since I do still owe on this pdl but wanted to know if anyone has any info on this company first. (Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I posted it earlier and now I can't find it).
