Thought I could "make it on my own" after divorce...but not having that second income caught up with me eventually. As of February started looking for a house of my own as the house I use to live in was my X husbands and my name was not on it due to my credit rating at the time he bought it back in 98. After the divorce I left him the house as I just didn't care to be in that area any longer so I set out to buy my own house. After months and months of hard work to pull this all together I finally did it as of this week! Now at 41 I finally have a house of my own.

My husband died due to his health we did not have much insurance..i owe about 5000 in property tax,another 5000in back payments i have a car payment and then 1 credit card wiht approx 1000 wouldlike to get laon topay off home i woe 85,000still would would be the best thing to due in this situation>

Should i Settle with northgroup or are they playing tricks on me?? I just spoke with them at around 8:30pm EST Also. How will this affect me with all 3 credit bureaus if i pay. What will i happen next after payment is done???

In order to effect positive change, I encourage (and beg) all Ohioans (and anyone else having pdl issues in other states)to write to the governor, the AG, your senators, your representatives, the deptartment of commerce and tell them about your problems with pdls. I recently wrote a letter to Ohio Governor Strickland and Attorney General Marc Dann about the trouble I've been having with pdls. I courtesy copied my sentator and representative as well. Gov Strickland and the AG Consumer Protection both replied to me and I took the responses as positive.

How long do they have to update their records to the date they signed my return receipt? They signed for it on the 20th and I'm still receiving computer generated calls.

Has anyone every got a PIF from my cash now?
