Can a creditor start garnishing your wage without me knowing first? One day when I got my check, I found out it was garnish. Then I called the payroll department of my company and I was told Midland Funding was garnishing my wage and there was a latter I should be getting any time now. I don't understand?

Today we heard from a KR Assoc. that we owed Bank of Delewarefrom a card issued in 2001. They could give us no acct, # or any info reguarding this account. We were told they were going to start legal procedings {even if they have no info on where we live} How can we find info on this account and should we go ahead and pay it with no information.

I have a letter for suet against me for a old bill in 2004 are they able to file suet against me? Is it considered old debt? it is more than 7 years

I took out a payday loan in desperate need. I repaid interest 3 times, but on the 4th payment due they stated I needed to repay in full. I did not have full amount at that time. I tried to work with store about payment arrangements and they refused. They have sent my information to 4-5 different debt collectors and each time they have refused to make payment arrangements with me. Now I have another company calling my job, threatening that if I don't pay at least half now they Will send police to my job to arrest me. They are also stating to call human resources on me.

I have about 8 payday loans right now. I really need help with these things. I get one to pay off another and I'm back in the same situation. Please help!

I have been reading this forum for 2 days until I've had a migraine but a "well worth migraine" may I add. I have several ( to say the least) PDL's as well. I live in SC and was reading the sticky about them. It only lists one on the list and I dont have that one. So is there another place I need to look to see the legality of them? Has anyone had loan companies say that they do not work with debt consolidation companies and T&C has indeed worked with them? I'm just wondering if my loan companies are trying to get me not to consolidate or if T&C just want my money.

I closed out my bank account on tuesday and sent letters revoking ACH withdrawls to lenders. I found out that they still tried to take money from closed account this morning. Any comments or advice on what i should do or not do now?
