I disputed a debt with the CRA and simply got a reply of "verified." Do I have the right to demand that the CRA present me with legitimate documentation that this debt is valid or remove it from my report? I don't believe the debt is vaild and it seems they do nothing other than take the creditor's word that it is.

I find it very appalling to know there are tons of consumers who try every excuse in the book to try to beat debts. I have been in the collection industry for 18 plus years I have collected on everything from auto repos to student loans to medical it all appears to me they ( DEBTORS ) seem to have all the same excuses. Thank God for our industry think about how our economy would really be if it wasn't for us ( bottom dwellers / feeders ) calling you for the moneys you owe that you failed to even try to work out with the original creditor.

OMG! I have the best loan officer ever! Remember, I tried to close my account and was told no, I couldn't, but that wasn't the branch manager that i talked to. Anyway, I talked to my loan officer about these pdls and told her I had sent them all the letters about not debiting my account, etc., and she said it wouldn't do any good. She told me just to call her on the days they tried to send ACHs through. I called this morning--I had 11 ACHs on my account today--she told me she would waive the NSF charges! Since I called my Payroll dept.

I have 2 very old charged off accounts w/Cap One. Cap One refuses to deal w/me. They keep referring me to the collection agencies. But the collection agencies won't validate the debts. What to do next? Thanks!

I'm confused. I asked on Yahoo Answers if it was better to work out debt consolidation or try to work out the situation with the creditors. Everyone at Yahoo Answers said NOT to use Debt Consolidation as I'm having someone do for me what I can do for myself & that debt consolidation companies charge fees on top of what I'd be paying them. So now I'm so confused at to which is better. I'm $17,000 in debt, one payment behind on most credit cards. I want to get out of debt but not sure how to go!

Well The owner who was Scott Johnson has now turned into some dude named Dean. Dean told me that something was better than nothing and if I could send them 50.00 whenever i could they would "work" with me. Funny thing, on their web site is a photo of some sort of license that clearly states that they can only do business in UTAH.Dean told me to mail money to California.

I need to get my hands on a letter that I can send to them since they wont answer my emails, and when i call the phone. # i have i'm on hold fo 30 minutes and then get disconnected!! i cant afford the fees anymore, and dont know what else to do. please help me!! also, i dont know any of the laws for this type of thing in Pennsylvania. Hi, My Name is Randy Brown, I Have been trying to clean up my credit for years now, i'm 24 years old and my credit score is at 500 or a little more, but i been in high risk and i have delinquent accounts that have been bad for 3-4 years, its been rent on a place where i owe, that a sublease was takken place, but i never got taken off and been now responsible of it, a dell computer, that a friend was paying off, well never paid it and now i'm responsible for that bill and the list goes on, there is about $5000 worth of debt, after thats paid, i'm debt free and i finally can live my life the rig

Help me please, I found this site and have read alot of good things, if you can help me i will help every other person i can in any way i can. I have (between my wife and I) about 6 payday loans and cannot get out of them. I make good money(2100.00/mo)wife makes 3000.00/mo and we are bearly treading water because of cash call and other payday loans that we were too stupid to see the consequences. please help us regain our financial lives(my kids deserve better than they are getting).
