Anyone ever get anywhere with these guys? This is a strange one - after you pay it down over $100 or so they let you reup. Essentially you borrow the whole thing and payoff the original loan and then end up getting a $100 deposit out of it. So if I add up all the deposits and all the payments I borrowed $598.28 and paid them $907.73, They are saying I still owe them something like another $400.

I wish there was an addition to the fdcpa that required collectors to validate the debt BEFORE they even contact the consumer. I was thinking about that today and realized that it would be the most effective thing to do. I don't know...it was 95 degrees today...maybe I have sunstroke. :oops:

As I wrote previously, I need to pay off an old credit card debt. My bank accounts have been frozen, and I'm pretty nailed to the wall. I owe 8500.00 they gave me the amount of 6400.00 Is there any way to reduce this further, since a judgement has already been entered against me? This is like a nightmare-I'm shaking, my kids think I've got the flu or something. Ideas?

I seem to be having an issue with these people...First while yes I applied for a payday loan but I don't believe it was with them...I don't remember seeing their name on any thing...etc. Now two very strange things about this are 1st- they gave me two deposits of $200 on the same day, The other odd thing is that they say I said I have a checking account.....I know thats not true I haven't had a checking account in over a year!! Unfortunately I was laid off recently and have just gone back so the money I owe isn't there..... So I have no idea what to do!!! Oh yeah I am in Alaska!

OK, got home tonight and got the mail. There was a plain envelope ther posted marked out of Charlotte NC. So I open the envelope and this is what it says" Quote:
