Received a telephone call that they want me to pay an additional $900 on a $600 loan, of which I've already paid $450 in fees. I sent an email informing them that they are illegal in my state and that I am willing to pay the balance of the principal owed, plus the allowable interest rate of 25% apr as if they were licensed in my state. to top it off that only leaves a balance of $181.56, which I agreed to pay in THREE payments of $60.52 STARTING 8/10/07. I am in the process of fiing a complaint with the BBB and will let you know what the next stumbling block is.

I feel overwhelmed with the amount of debt my husband and I have obtained over the past year. When my son was 1 month old my husband lost his job. When this happened we were debt free aside from my student loans. It took a month and a half for my husband to find a job and in that time we went deep into debt paying for our bills and also for child support for his older 2 boys. Over the last couple of months my husband has had some trouble findinga steady, well paying job and we have been struggling and charging expenses.
