I feel like a Complete Idiot. I took out a payday loan several months ago, knowing I could afford the ninety dollar payments each paycheck. To make a long story short, I took out another and another. Now the fees are so much that I can't afford it. I make commissions and the summer time is where I make the most, but I have nothing. I have read tons of posts on this site, and I just have a few questions. I know I need to close my checking account. What do I tell the bank as to why I want to close it?

I live in Colorado, and by reading the other posts, I see I haven't been the only person thinking, when I started taking out payday loans, both online & storefront; unfortunately, they are at a 7 count. I am scared and don't know what to do. I tried getting a loan to have one payment with much lower interest, but I can't even get a loan. The payments have gotten all my pay and now I can't even pay my car payments or my rent plus everything else. Please, help me figure out what I can do. I have talked to a debt management firm and they said payday loans are hard to deal with.

What impact does a "Payment Plan" have on my credit score? It is better than having a Charge Off, correct?

One of our accounts has been "charged off" and now handled by a collection agency (OMNI). Made a payment less than 120 days ago....however not full minimum due, but still a payment. Account now with a collection agency. Technically, we can still make a payment online to the "original" company. Is it best to make a payment to the "original" company or deal with OMNI (they want to settle for only a few hundred $ less) than what is owed. Any advice welcomed!

I live in in Washington State and I wanted to know if it is possible to open a new bank account after a bankruptcy? If so, which banks would allow it? Any and all help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
