After an attorney negotiates your debt down do you still pay the creditor or are they paid out of the money you pay the attorney?

Several months ago, I was trying to collect against a man who wouldn't pay his debts, and he was very rude and launched profanity laced rants at me. Well, recently we got a judgement against him, and now we have cleaned out his bank accounts, taken his car, and garnished his wages. He's whining about not having money to feed his family. I told him maybe he should go volunteer at a food bank. LMAO

I'm currently about to get way behind on my pay day loan! They don't tell you that when you extend your loan they charge you the same finance charge! It's really easy to fall behind on that and I didn't realize it could get me in trouble. I hope this site can point me in the right direction fast! Up to eyes in debt in Houston!

Has anyone dealt with this company before? I have enrolled with them to pay off credit card debts. I have signed all the papers but still getting harrarssing phone calls and letters. I am making my monthly payments like i am supposed to. Does this ever stop? This is really scary!! Any advice is appreciated.

I was able to get my transunion credit report online. However, I was unable to receive my equifax and experian.I am writing in a request for these two credit reports from annualcreditreport.com. The two companies have request the following information to verify my identity: paystub w/ ss#, checking account statment, w2 copy and a id. my question is this. is it ok to block out a portion of my checking account number and the amount I made on my pay stub and w2?

Hello folks, today is my D-Day for my 11 iPDLs. My bank account has been frozen and their debits will be returned to them - so Monday should be interesting. Anyway, the point of this thread is this: does anyone have a link to templates for letters for ACH revocation and Wage Assignment revocation? A phone call cease and desist letter stating all correspondence must be done via e-mail?

Hello everyone. I have two online payday loans: one with whitesands aka instantloanstoday who originally deposited $450 and one from 500fastcash who deposited $300. It was a huge mistake and I wasn't able to pay either one anything. Now they are making multiple transfer attempts to my account. I have another banking account but have left the old one open up until now for fear of legal problems with these PDLs. I'm in Missouri. I am in such horrible debt that there is no way I can pay these two anything right now.

I am a college student who got himself into credit card debt and I am now trying work my way out of it. I have 2 credit cards that are in collections. I originally had 3 now I have 4. A Citi Bank Account which I pay 100.month through Citi Another Citi Account which has been sent to NES Collections with about a 2000 balance about 50% is late fines and interest A Capital One Account that has about 2.5k balance which is with ASG. My dad helped me pay 700 on it by online bill pay. My problem is with NES they have been harassing me and my family.
