I'm looking for help from the WI residents that post on this board. I filed compliants with my state DFI against MTE and ARM, the collection agency that now has my account from MTE. I sent ARM a debt validation letter CMRRR, and they accept it. They followed the cease and desist letter, but haven't heard anything from them. I haven't heard anything from the WI DFI about either of this. Can any of you WI help? Puddlejumpr, I know that you dealt with ARM, as they lied to the WI DFI, and the MTE company marked you PIF. But, I haven't gotten anything.

I am in serious debt, between 7 Pay Day loans (all unresolved), Credit card bills, Medical Bills, Misc. Bills, Rent and Utilities and so much more, I am overwhelmed. I owe close to $20,000.00 and i try to make small payments YET i never seem to catch up and only fall behind on my most important bills. What is one to do, i want to improve my credit BUT even with 2 jobs and struggling, denying myself completely i am still working with a 514 credit score and bills galore. Is bankruptsy (the second time in 4 years) an option. debt consolidation?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know what company the number 866-304-0566 belongs to. Someone keeps calling me (has even gotten a cell phone number that I have only given to family and friends) and telling me that I owe a debt of over $16,000 and that the original creditor is treatening me with breach of contract.

I have 2 checking accounts and one closed because I had a overdraft and they added daily fees to it and am unable to pay. They just closed it and are going to send it to collections. What will happen with my other checking account from a different bank? Will they take from it or close it?

I have a problem that I need help solving. I took out a loan for $400.00 with Eastside in October. I continued the loan for 4 payments of $75.00 and then did not hear anything else from them. I had some problems with finances for the next 6 months, but since April 6, someone named SHW Recovery at 1-866-489-0979 has been taking out $75.00 every two weeks. As of today, they have taken out $600.00. I called the number and they said they represent Eastside.

Are payday loan companies included as a creditor you can offer assistance with?

OK...so I get this phonecall (at work btw) last Friday from a man who stated he was contracted by the government (try not to laugh) to collect an outstanding debt I have. So I asked who he was with, who the original creditor was. He stated his name was Mike Rosario and he was with Alliance Asset Management. The debt in question was with Cash Direct Express in the amount of $420. I stated I know of no such company or outstanding account. Of course, I got the rude remarks...blah blah blah.

I received a reply from the Delaware BBB this morning. Payday Select has agreed to refund me 380.00. I accepted under the condition that they would send me a check within 10 days. I have one more left, Geneva Roth, whose attorney called my home again and wants to resolve the matter. Frogpatch 4 PDLs 0. One left to play. Sweet! Thank you all so much. I could never have done this alone. Had I not put Route 66 funding into Google I never would have found this site. I would have been losing sleep over this and paying big time.
