Hi, I am married, a full-time college student, with a 5-month old and another on the way. My wife cannot work because of her VISA status and I am only allowed to work 20 hours a week. At $10.50 an hour, that doesn't amount to much. I have a growing student loan debt which will total about $50,000.00 when I graduate in 2009 and I have car loan and credit card debt totaling $25,000.00+. I don't know what to do and I need some help and advice fast. I have tried so many internet work-at-home opportunities but none seem to work. Please write back with some advice. This is Alma.

Well...long story short I got in a tight financial pinch and I got about 8 pay day loans. After paying the interest rates for three to four pay periods I noticed that I never had any extra cash for my bills and other things. I am currently looking for help with this matter before I lose everything I have worked for

I paid a few collection accounts before I found this site. Basically I was bullied into it and told that collection agencies NEVER delete with payment so I might as well pay it. Now I have no leverage. Any suggestions on how to try to get paid stuff off my credit report? Also, one of the collections is reporting as being in collections 6 months after it was paid. It now says it's paid, but as of 6 months after the check cleared, is there anything I can do about that?

It's been a really bad day. Still searching for a bank. Nothing is close to me that doesn't either use Chex or do a credit check, neither of which I can pass at all. This past week was the first sample we had of NOT having a bank account and it really sucked bad. The only plus was that we had our checks for once. If anyone can do a search for a bank with no chexsystems verification in my area or credit check, I am located around Winchester, Decherd or Tullahoma, TN. I appreciate any help with this. I think I have called all there are left to call. LOL!!!!

Well, they weren't the ones I was going to deal with this week but they left me an urgent voicemail this evening so I decided what the heck. It turned out to be the good cop/bad cop routine. Now I borrowed $500 from Paycheck Today and have paid them $1,155 back. They want another $530 to go away. The first guy named Dan Kelsey was very friendly and jovial. He listened to me for a few minutes and then said OK to save time here you don't want to pay this right? I said no, like you owe me right? Then it was the old let me talk to my supervisor.

Hi, I live in the Arkansas and have several pay day loans out and had some unexpected expenses and can not pay the loans back at this time. I check with the laws in Arkansas and if I close my checking account check casher can initaiate criminal prosectution againt me for closing my acccount. What can I do to keep them from calling me at work and can they keep running the checks thru as many time as they want or can they only try one or two times. For every time the check is run thru I am charge a $27.00 INF fee on my account which could add up quickly.
