Hi guys! I am new to these forums and have to say, they are wonderful!! I am currently in Payday loan hell. Have about 5 loans, and am working on trying to pay them off, even though some of them have collected way more from me than they should have. I was wondering if anyone let me know if these idiots are even licensed to operate in NY? I have 1 with Staradvance (400), 1 with ameriloan (500), 1 with OneClickcash(400), 1 with United Cash loans (200), and the final with Discountadvances (400). I am thinking of taking out a loan from my 401k to pay these people off.

I noticed that you responded back to someone that you would be able to help her get a new checking account without them checking into check systems??? How would I go about doing that?

I received a court summons. The whole scenario is that it's from the Special Civil Part of Superior Court NJ and I reside in Pennsylvania! The Plantiff is David J Apothaker - AGD Financial Trust 2002a. The original creditor is PROVIDIAN. There is a state of Account stapled to the back and typewritten and states the debtor's name, account number, creditor, original creditor, DATE OF DEBT August 13, 2001 Balance Due $4,556.42. I called Apothaker and the gal there stated it's mine and that I cannot validate it I had my chance since they sent numerous letters.

I have some questions regarding my situation.

Well I have a perfect job 1 1/2 ago and i aplied to get a credit card , first i got a secure card of 300 then a 1000$ then 500 , then a 300 , i paid the first moths really good and then i totally lost my job cause familie problems then i didn't paid nothing at all then they charge me for not paid , all my banks call me everyday , i really want to pay but i can not pay all at once now i got the worse credit ever , i work by my self and is workingout pretty good , sp if u guys can help me i'm willing to pay all my debts. thank you

Okay. So US Fast Cash has been playing the game of not accepting my emails - then forwarding them back to me. Now I've got Quickest-Cash-Advance and MTE Financial doing the same thing. LOL! They won't even accept my emails. Once sent, they forward them back to me! Of course, I faxed them all since they won't take my email, which of course, I will email again. But I've got proof that they are just returning my emails. They refuse to cooresponde with me any further. Am I to assume that my accounts are closed with them all? That's what I'm assuming. Don't want contact with me?

Hi- I have a debt with MCM from an old citibank account ($20,000). The lady I talked to at first, back in March, was very nice. I couldn't pay the balance or the settlement amount, so we agreed to monthly payments of $300, which I have made on time every month, by checks through the mail (no postdating, although they really tried to get me to do so). This morning I got a call from a VERY nasty lady from their company stating that I was supposed to be increasing my payments monthly in $25 increments ($25 more this month, $50 the next, etc).

I figured out which CA left me a voicemail. It was Pallino Receivables, formerly went by Mercantile Adjustment Bureau. I am not sure how to proceed...do I call them first, or do I just email and send via certified mail a DV letter. I need to act fast because I don't want this to go to arbitration. I am dealing with a charged-off BoA cc account of $6000. They say if I don't do anything they'll turn this over to the National Arbitration Forum, and I haven't read anything positive about them.
