I got a phone call on my cell phone from the UK. The message was from Ben Johnson who said that if I didn't call by 2 PM today, I would face serious legal issues. My file was in the investigation department and I face serious actions if I did not call by 2 PM today. They have also called my mom (one of my references) and she freaked. I am choosing to ignore this, at least until I get home. Am I right in doing this? I know I have paid back at least the principal (but I have no way of knowing for sure as I closed the bank account that they were debiting AGES ago).

I am having issues with an online PDL called Urgent Cash Advance. They are licensed in Wisconsin, I checked. The collections guy pushed me into a payment arrangement which I just could not follow through on. I was agreeing to $135 by last Friday and the balance of $315 by 7/30. I just can't do it. I had to pay my rent. So, I sent them a letter, certified, with a $15 money order. He got it and e-mailed today saying: I just received your letter.

hey, everybody are there any free tradelines that you can add yourself to your credit files?

I am a 36 yr. old father of 2, ages 10 & 6. I am recently separated and going through the process of a divorce. I have made several attempts to secure a loan from local banks, my bank, which is Teacher's Credit Union and a few others. Every time I get a response back telling me that my debt to income ratio is high to get approved. The main reason being that I am still on the mortgage of the house my wife and children still live in. In the divorce decree, she has 1 year to refinance.

I have fallen on hard times. If you can't pay your unsecured credit card debt, can they take your house in the State of Texas? I want to pay my debts, but I'm feeling sick everyday worrying about my house being taken. Can they legally do this in Texas? Thank you for your help.

My husband and I are looking to put an addition on our home, however when we tried to apply for home equity loans we were told our debt to income ratio is too high. We are having trouble finding a loan to pay off some of our credit card debt. Any suggestions?

Just a little help please. I 've been reading thru posts here and have found 2 addresses for zipcash. One in Espanola NM and the other in Oceanview DE. I tried the BBB and it comes up DE address but zipcash sent me a settlement letter that states they follow NM laws and are in NM. I'm in PA. Does anyone know which is right? The difference for me is DE only allows 4 rollovers and NM isn't specified. It would affect which BBB i file on them with right?Anyone?

A few weeks ago before I disputed my debt I had agreed to a settlement with FMA alliance for 1400 on a debt that was 1900. I was basically bullied into this and afterwards I found this site and all the information on my rights and whatnot. I called them back and let them know I was disputing the debt and sent them a letter, they said the payments would be canceled. I got back a partial validation as in original statements from the creditor but no amounts or anything.
