I need to find out the physical address for SJM Marketing so that I can find out if they are licensed in any state and what the laws of that state are. I recently sent them a letter stating that I had overpaid them and that I wanted my account considered paid in full and today I got a reply back stating that they still wanted me to pay 250 or they would turn it over to their collections department so I need to get as much info and then write them back. I hope the following helps some of you faced with the feeling of drowning from payday loans and no options to get away from them. I had 17 payday loans so I went with Langhorne debt solutions. I feel this was my best option as they contact all payday loan companies, I did not have to deal with harrassing phone calls, emails, etc. I did not have them contacting my work, family or friends, and this is all because Langhorne knows who and how to contact these companies to stop them in their tracks. They also gave me the tools and information I needed to protect my bank account and pay check.

Please someone help me I am caught in the Payday loan trap and can't get out. If I could consolodate into one low monthly payment I could get out. Please help I will take any advice. Thank you so much!

I was reading another post and saw something about an ARM statue does anyone know what Florida's statue is on this. Also I have found out that none of my pdls are licensed in my state not even CashnetUsa and when I checked to see what other name they were using on my loan doc's that one wasn't on the list either, hopefully looking at the right list!!

My wife started getting calls from this Company about three weeks ago but won't tell me what the debt is that I suppose to owe or who it was from originally. The caller tells me that this call is being recorded and when asked by me who it is that this debt was from again he said we bought it from a CC and you have to pay us. I told him send me documentation supporting this debt and he refused. He said we can settle this today or sue you. Then he began calling me names and I said sir, shut your trap and stop being ugly.

I had an old visa card that has been charged off and sent to about 5 or 6 different creditors and recently Palasades who jacked up the debt from 3000 to 8000. The debot is 10 years old and I'm not sure how it went from 3 - 8? the orginal debt was 3000 and all the previous creditors only increased to 4000 and suddenly it went up to 8000 and they cant tell me why - except they (palasades) thought it was a little high as well but there is no changing it???

I sent a certified letter to Payday Select telling them that I had overpaid them 410.00 according to the State of Florida. No Response after 3 weeks. I emailed them in reference to the letter and included a copy of the States Laws, an Email from the FLDFS stating that they are required to be licensed by the Department, and also referred them to a couple of Court cases where the laws were upheld in suits against payday loan companies in the Stae of Florida. I told them that I had held off on filing complaints for now. I received a reply.

I'm writing in regards to a situation I have found myself in. My father passed away early February, he lived in Arizona. Having just moved to a new residence I found myself with no money to get to AZ from CT. So I took out 2 payday short term loans to cover this. It was an extremely stupid decision on my part. Since then I've taken out multiple other ones to get by and pay for the finance fees of the others. I get paid $444.50 weekly which is directly deposited into my checking account.
