I took out a car loan 4 years ago. The first year we did awesome with our payments but into the second year my significant other lost his job and did not get a new one until September of last year. Needless to say we racked up a HUGE amount of late fees...To the tune of 986.00. The car has been paid off for a few months now and I have paid the bit of interest back that had been charges so now I am left with this whomping last fee charge. Is there a letter that I can send asking for some forgivness of at least some of these late fees?

can these people call and ask about my employment. It seems as what I am reading it is illegal to call my work place. Thanks

I simply copied the letter you guys suggested and just sent them off. some companies tried to strong arm me but I held firm and only paid back the principal of what was left, and even got a $450 refund from Loan Shop (they were the easiest to deal with) Ameriloan, United Cash Loans, and Magnum just simply stopped debiting and when I log into my account it says thank you for your business, if you have any questions please feel free to call us.

Secondly my original loan was from 5/11 for the amount of $200, since then I have made 30 payments of $79 and two payments of $158, totaling $2686 dollars!!!!! This is crazy, I didnt even see that coming !!!!!!!! When I went in to check online it doesn't really tell me much, but that I am in collections and that I owe $437. What do I do next???!!!

I live in PA. So while in the process of trying to figure out what to do with my MyCashNow.com Payday loan, they transferred it to a collections agency called Credit Protection Depot. I called Credit Protection Depot, and they are demanding I pay the entire PDL balance (principle plus crazy fees). MyCashNow had access to my bank account, can they transfer that access to Credit Protection Depot? Should I worry? Thanks!
