I have another thought or questions...I have actually just begun my battle. Sent them all the letter and filed with my state's ag. Should I just sit and wait or should I be emailing them asking for responses...or emailing the letter...I haven't heard much from any of them. I or 2 messages...and someone calls while I am at work but doesn't leave a message. It's been too quite and that worries me!!!! LOL...

I have been divorced for 4 years now. My crdeit score is 661. On my credit reports it shows a debt still owed on a credit card. the account is closed. Under the remark responsibilty I am an authorized user. I have never received a bill or notice of this. How can I get this off my credit reports.

I was talking with my sister last night and explaining what I have been doing to get out of debt...and to fight these pdls. She did not believe what I was doing is possible...that's ok..I can deal with it until the AG tells me I have to pay or whatever. But this is what she said to worry me...inre: to my closing my checking account and openning another at a different bank. She said she heard that any debt collector or charge card company that I owe money to can trace and find my new account and debit it with out my permission?? I can't believe that is true??

Iwas an authorized user on my ex-husbands credit card. Does this make me responsible for the debt, or just a user. The account is closed but there is still a balance my credit reports show me as authorized user. I live in Massachusetts. Is there a way to resolve this.

big payday loans have bad practises. you get a loan and if you dont call them and say you want to pay off 3 days before your pay day then it is costly. i have had 4 loans with them and on the 4th i couldnt pay and there collections dept called me over and over. one person gave me a number to call 877-210-9419 and i paid $90 and my loan was paid. i dont know if i would use pay day loans again i would rather ask a friend but i am out of it now.

I am in a debt management program and have been for the past 4 or 5 months. My credit score is REALLY low and I want to try to bring it up. My debt management plan says that after my 3rd ontime payment, my credit bureau would be "reaged" ( Ithink tha's the term they used) What does that mean?? What else can I do in the meantime to help boost my score? I did the freecreditreport.com and it showed a collection from midland credit management, but I have no idea what it is for.

I have been going back and forth with this pdl for a while. I sent them the state laws and they told me they are not a pdl, they give rebates for phone cards, but I received money and then they were taking out fees every pay period. I don't get it. I don't know what to do next. I have already over paid these people by 300.00 dollars and they are still asking to pay in full. Help :?:

I am also getting constant calls from this company for one of the previous mentioned bills...have explained to them that it is being disputed and why but they keep calling..day and night and at work constantly harassing

I have two different problems. I got a bad credit rating due to false info given to credit bureau. I work for a large hospital corp. involving work comp and deal with the billing dept constantly regarding errors involving employees being billed in error....wrong info put in system such as who to send bill to..should be very simple..we (hospital) have one work comp ins. carrier and this is programmed into registeration computer system..when a person is reg.

I am a single young adult and I've occured a large amount of debt over the past several months. I had a job that payed bi-weekly and I was struggling to make the minimum monthly payments, but I did...I just sarted a new job and I only get paid once a month due to this situation I've let a few bills (I think almost all) go outstanding!!!
