I've been reading some of the postings in this forum and the information is very helpful. I recently received a payday loan from All credit lenders in Waukegan, IL, I defaulted on the loan not because I didn't want to pay them but because I couldn't. In any event, they have sent me an intent to assign wages. I have checked with the agency that handles my companies garnishments and as of this date, they have not received any such notice. I have read that I an send a letter to the credit and my employer revoking the wage assignment.

I can't find it now, but I remember reading somewhere that per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, if I state in writing to stop phone calls, they have to stop or face a fine. Is that true? I can't find it now. Here is what I sent to the collector: "Please be advised that per the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I am notifying you that I will not receive phone calls either at home or at work in this regard. All correspondence shall be made by mail." Thank you for any help!

I currently have 3 payday loans out (all internet...stupid me): USAFastCash, Dollarflash, and ameriloan. However, I keep getting calls from a company called B.I.G. "regarding my online application." I have told them numerous times that I don't want the loan, no longer need the funds, etc. One person I talked with (Ade) said that he would cancel my application, and yet five minutes later they were calling again. I've been lurking around the site and have heard nothing good about them.

I am trying to get out of the payday loan trap. I have 6 loans and all I'm doing is paying fees. Any advice?

I am about to sign with T&C but wanted to get more info so I was searching GOOGLE, but not much there. I checked this site and also found Langhorne. But as I continued reading, I found that there were a lot of issues, however, at first reading there are a lot of positive things said about them. Since T&C is receiving the same positive feedback, I wonder if buried somewhere in the blog, if there is some horrible story about them. I did read where one person had been paying them and the pdl is taking that person to court.
