Hello, I came across this group while searching for help. My daughter and husband has racked up major credit card debt while they were not working. They have 4 year old twins. Husband cannot keep a job but daughter went to school and now has a decent job but it still isn't enough. She had been paying child care while husband looked for work. They don't live near me. I advised taking kids out of day care so currently Dad is caring for them but he is not happy about it. Unfortuneately they don't start kindergarten for another year. I know all their debt, income etc. and I am sorting it out.

I have so many payday loans that they are killing me. I dish out 1200 a month in just fees. Any ideas?

So I sent a letter (used the templates from this sight which were VERY helpful) to 2 of the 3 pdl companies. One was to cease the automatic deduction, the other was to stop the automatic dedution AND to ask for a refund because I have way overpaid them.

Can anyone tell me if B&L Marketing, MTE, SJM, Midlanding Marketing, The Loan Shop and Cash Direct Express are legal internet pdl companies? How do I find out if these companies are allowed to practice in the state of arkansas? if i pay back just the prinicpal and the close my account will they still come after me????? will they contact my work??? what steps do i need to take?

i am getting the run around i didnt sign up for any thing and my account was debited all i want to know is how do i cancel i called all the phone numbers i was given and i am getting nowere.were is the link to cancel :evil:

I work once a week and bring home nearly 800 a month. I have been using my credit cards to pay for my expenses, but now I am in serious debt totaling over $25,000.00 and I can not currently make my monthly payments.

I have a Capital One account that was settled with RMA back in 2003, but I am still getting letters from other agencies about collecting money for Capital One. I have the letter from RMA saying that it was settled. What can I do?
