I took off work to have eye and prostate surgery. When I was ready to return to my job as a Night Supervisor at a combination storage facility/snack bar/ car and RV wash, I found that in my absence the snack bar had been closed and that Night Supervisors had been replaced by electronic security. Though I had remained in contact, I had not been told, but was able to successfully apply for and get Disability payments for most of my off time, catching me up with my credit cards. Then came the need to replace my car and a trip driving back to MI from CA for my younger daughter's wedding.

I just spoke to the credit counselor that was referred to me by this site. i was told that they could consolidate my pdl's but the minimum fee would be $100 per month per loan. has anybody else been quoted this dollar amount also? is this normal for these type of consolidations? and who is this T&C that i keep reading about. If someone could send me the info them i would appreciate it. also, would it be better to let these pdls go into collections before attempting to consolidate them?

I have a new business that is not paying me yet and need to get my personal debt back in line. We are currently $1200.00 short every month on living. We have a 32% out of control card we have to get rid of fast! and some 9% loans to reduce some how. My business is not in debt but is soon to be next or closed? help! I am in need of realistic options. The business owes me money I put in, best way to get my money back out that's owed?

On May 11th I was called by Jackson, Phillip and Associates saying that I had to pay them over $500 by 1:30pm that day or be arrested. Well my mother helped me out and paid the money. I was told by Dean McCoy the rep who called and scared the b Jesus out of me that he was sending a letter out that I had paid in full. I called the following Monday and asked him again, he had a stank attitude and when he repeated the address to me on where he was sending the letter it was wrong, and he acted like he corrected it. Well it is May 29th and I haven't received a letter yet What do I do now?

Payday loans? Man, do my wife and I have them. Four places with checks,($360.00mth in interest),and have had those two for at least a year now or more. Two loans with Cash Call, (Borrowed $5,000 and have paid back over $6,000 so far@ $432.00mth, Five payday loans over the internet at about $750.00 a month or more. Many of these loans have been kept up on now for over two years. Many over a year. I called up Cash Call afte one year of $432.00 payments and asked how much I owed them and they told me it was $5,000.00 That's what we borrowed over a year ago in Jan of 06!

Can you recommend a debt consolidation/management company in southeastern Ohio? I have several past due, unpaid debts that I would like to clear up. I do not believe they are much more than 5000-6000.

I was currently working with a law firm on debt settlement (began Sept. 2006 to the present). My total debt was/is about $20,000 and they told me they would be able to settle most accounts for 50%. Well 9 months have since past and not one creditor has been paid. I've already paid them a total of $4284 dollars, of which $1500 was payable to them. I am now getting calls from creditors as they haven't seen any payment come their way. Is there any way for me to get help???

My name is Rick and I need financial assistance. I was layed off from my job back in Noveember. Just before April fool's day I found a new job. But most of my savings has been drained. This new job started out Almost 40/hrs a week, But the company I'm working for started cutting hours. Now I can't pay my rent. It's either I can't pay my bills or my rent. I have 6 loans out. Sent letters to all of them as they are not licensed in Wisconsin. I have no bank account. All my money goes into husband's account (sick, I know). I got into the PDL cycle last fall after making 2 house payments. Instead of sucking up my pride and admitting to the mistake, I took out a payday loan and another and so on to make up the money that paid for the house. I authorized debits etc. but am not a signer on the account. Can I use that to my advantage to have them stop taking money out? Any help would be so appreciated!
