I am 20 years old living in Danville, Virginia. I have lots of bills to pay and I just started my new jobs in April of 2007. I have a credit card with Capital One and a credit card with Bank of America. I have hospital and doctor bills. I have a very expensive cell phone bill. I have a student loan to pay off and several other debts. I won't start making top pay on my new job until my three month trial period is over. I had been unemployed since November of 2006 and wasn't able to make the minimum payments.

Has anyone heard of Global Vantege Inc.? They sent me a letter stating they are designated to represent UNIFUND regarding my original account with Citibank. How do verify that they are who they say they are so I can make payments?

Anybody know this number?

what is the sol on credit card debt. is there one for nys residents, even if the creditors home is out of state ? otherwise whats the norm or standard ?

Are prepaid credit cards good? I received one in the mail from Espree it is a Master Card. This card allows you to have money directly deposited to the card from your paycheck. Is this legit or not? :P

I closed my bank account on Friday and reopen another one with the same bank. I did this once I found out according to my bank statement that I have paid my debts back. After being terrified by Jackson, Phillips and Associates I didn't want any other pdl business to have access to my account. I was thinking about writing the businesses that debit my account and telling them I will be making payments by money orders sent through the US Mail. What else should I do?

does anyone know who or what USD ACH DR is or stands for I am looking over my checking account and I see there withdrawing money out of my account in the sum of $630.00 so far I have no clue who or what they r....Thanks Tina
