how can escape from debt?

I am in desperate need of help with my payday loans. All they keep doing is renewing my loan and taking money from my account. I have no way of getting ahold of them in any way, numbers and company names are changing constantly. HELP! Melinda

Ok...I've had the week from heck, and last night was the LAST straw. I've been selling on Ebay for quite some time, and recently came across an ad for a software that would allow me to cut some of the expenses out when it comes to the fees charged by Ebay and Paypal. So, I ordered the DVD, paying only shipping & handling for it. Now, I consider myself a very careful person when it comes to my credit card numbers (well, in this case, a debit card, not attached to my bank account, thank goodness).

To make a long story short. I have been visiting the boards for a while now. I was threatened with a lawsuit and have just received it from a collection agency. The debt is $22,000 which was "credit card consolidation" to one card. I haven't made a payment to this card in 3 years. Which is the age of my disabled son. I haven't been able to go back to school or get a job since I care for him. I assume I have to file bankruptcy because I don't have $22,000 nor the $16,000 they would settle for.

I'm dealing with Asset Acceptance, LLC. They are trying to collect on an old debt from 1988. I sent a validation letter. I'm not even sure if this is mine. They sent me a letter back with an account statement which is printed on their letterhead with the following Statement Date Prior Account Number Prior Creditor Name Principal Interest Balance Last Transaction Date So now I need to know where to go from here. I have checked and if this is my debt, the SOL has run out a long time ago. So far they haven't tried to mess with my credit report. Any suggestions? Thank you, Julie

I'm currently going into defaul with two online payday loans. One is with CashNet USA and one is through ThinkCash, but technically it's through The First Bank of Delaware, who is FDIC insured, which I think falls under a different sent of guidelines. I've done some researching on the ramifications of letting these go into default and I need some clarification: According to a governement agency I spoke with, when doing business with an online payday lending service, you are technically doing business with them in their state and not vice-versa.

Hi, I have a bank issue and I am afraid of going to jail or something for it. This was all caused by payday loans. I had two payday loans.. they started debiting my account because I was late a payment. Because of this my account went very negative because of NSF fees.. then my bank accepted two direct bill pays that I had set up through my insurance and gym, I called to stop these payments but couldnt stop them in time.. and two checks that I had written out to my mom bounced because of this also.
