I am a single mother of 4 and recently had a stroke 4 months ago at the young age of 33. I was out of work for moths and got caught up with internet loans and now I owe about 2500.00. I lost my bank account and am living from check to check. What can I do to get these people off my back I am in desperate need of help....

I am in so much debt and I need some help. My credit cards are not only maxed but over the limit, I have a personal loan of $3250 that I pay $233 per month on. What should I do? Do you think a debt consolidation program could help me?

I took out many payday loans and have become overwhelmed. I recently closed my aaccount to stop the deductions and gain control. After spending some time on your site and others i have discovered that many of the loans i have are not following ca law. I sent an email to one of the companies pay day loan yes and here is the response i received can you tell me if this is true. The original loan was for 400. And i have paid back over 400.

I owe app. 5000.00 Capital One credit card company. .it is now up to 10,000 with late charges and interest. . I need someone to help me negotate and lower what I owe. . and make reasonable monthly payments

Most of my college loans are in forbearance, but credit card dept of 10,000 has remained virtually the same since january 2006 when I was forced into loving off credit whiile struggling to find work. I'm simpply not making enough to pay off like I want. One of my cards continues to hover around $100 abive the credit line because of interest even though I have been making payments.

Has anyone sent a copy of the state laws/fee's for payday loans to a CA? I'm getting a letter around for A S & Associates and I'm not sure if I should send them a copy of my state laws? Can anyone tell me what I should do? Thanks!
