Well as far as my story goes, Michael Knight of Allen Lewis and Associates had contacted us stating that he was an attorney and that we were in possesion of stolen property and if we didnt pay him $1145 for a $95 violin his client would be pressing charges. As stated in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act of 1975, I sent a certified letter to his office requesting that all contact cease until such time that legal action was being taken with exception of a verification of the debt to be sent to my home.

The company I worked laid off 16 people me being one of them before Christmas. It took me 3 months to find another job in the meanwhile I got into trouble with payday loans and can't dig myself out, because of these payday loans I'm falling behind with my other bill's such has house payment car payments and etc. I came to this site yesterday and already received a call back from a credit counselor but they said they are not able to help me with payday loans from the Internet. Can someone give me any advice?

Need help in dealing with the pdl companies18 years 9 months ago I need an address for GFSIL and DMS. I would also like an email and fax number if possible. I got the Indiana State info from your website a few days ago and am going to send them a letter. I also have one with Payday Service, has anyone heard of them? I have one at Quick Cash that I was loaned $500.00 and have paid $625 back. How much more would I owe them? I am in a mess and trying to figure out which ones I still owe money to and which ones I have paid way too much!!! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Reasonable Settlement????18 years 9 months ago Hey guys need your help. I have an old capital one account. Blatt, liebsker and moore are collecting on it, got dv and all that. To make it short. They want $1200. on a $500 card, they sent the dv along with a letter requesting my proposal, I proposed to pay $500, at $50 every two weeks. Anyone have experience with this? Is this something that capital one will accept or am I being ridiculous here. any advice would be appreciated.
