I sent my not going to pay anymore letters to my PDLs about 10 days ago and my bank stopped all the ach's on Friday. I have heard from about half of them. My question is do I send a follow-up letter to the ones I haven't heard from asking them again to mark my account paid in full or is it better to wait for them to contact me?

Need some advice here...This has nothing to do with debt but maybe someone can help me.... If you have been working for a company that pays you weekly, and the first week you do not get paid because they claim they lost your W-2 and you go out and fill it out and they say that you will get the money on the next check the following week, and then the following week comes and there is no check....Say a friends husband is the one telling his wife this....Would you be inclined to believe that perhaps the husband has been lying about a job for the past two weeks?

My name is Aniedra from Desert Hot Springs,CA. And back in November 2006 I had some fraudlent charges from another company which left my closed checking account with Bank of America with several NSF Fees plus the amount the other company withdrawn from my account without my permission. And the final outcome of matter is that I did not get my money back nor the NSF charges put back into my account. So Mr. Ron Reynolds from Westbury Ventures based out of Henderson,NV. And he was very nasty to me and he stated that I was ignorant and he was yelling at me.

I had a new car loan back in june 2000 that i paid on for 3 months or so then i got divorced and turned it back in to the bank when i could no longer afford it and never made any more payments on it.During the course of the past 6 1/2 years ive recieved all sorts of threats of wage garnishments etc etc,now just about the 7th year from turning the car in, a summons to appear in civil court on this matter was handed to my wife while i was at work.My question is do i have to appear in court? and if i dont what happens from there?

I just spoke with the person handling my complaint against this company and she said that they have not responded. She said that if the company doesn't respond there is nothing more that the AG's office can do. ARGH!!!! That means I would be stuck with them!!!!!!

I have been reading these posts for some time now trying to figure out what to do about my CC debt. I am one of those people who have decent credit and have not made one payment late on any CC. My point-- Who out there is already behind on your CC payment and has your CC company contacted you asking why you havent made your payments?
