I got married in 2000 and filed chapter 7 in 2002 because of some debts I accrued prior to my marriage. Since we have been married, my husband has had 3 major surgeries. We have insurance but still have huge medical bills for what insurance didn't cover. They have all since gone into collections. We do own a home we bought in 2001 but we got a bad deal on it-when we went to close, the payment was like $200 more than we had been told it would be.

I have 5 or six payday loans and keep getting furhter in debt just paying the interest every month. Both storefront and online. Who will consolidate them for me?

How can I get ahold of T&C?

I've been talking to some debt consolidation companies (cccs, forgetadebt, ccca) They all very pushy to sign me up with their programs right away.. My question is, once they tell you what the payment plan is going to look like, can you reject it on the spot, after given them all the creditor and personal information? Can I try to sign up for all of them and than choose the lowest plan? What do you think will be appropriate thing to do when choosing DMC plan?

hello all has anyone ever delt with Pinnacle Financial group.. i currently have 3 accounts with them.. 2 bad checks 1 medical bill i made them validate the medical one and no respose yet and now they were calling bout the 2 bad checks.. is the 1st cease and disist letter good or i need to send a new one for these new accounts..

I recieve phone call and letters about a debt collection but I have no idea what it is for?

Are there companies that will consolidate payday loan debts? I am with Freedom Point debt consolidation but they cannot do payday loans. They said that I have to wait until the loan goes to collections before they can work with them.

I am newly separated from my husband. In our short lived year together he charged up tens of thousands of dollars on my credit cards(all of which are in my name for he had terrible credit). There is no possible way for me to live and make monthly payments on these. Can I not get the creditors to get him to pay for them? As of now I have not been late on any payments but if this doesn't get resolved I will be forced to quit making payments and ruin my credit. I desperately need advice!
