If we have caller ID block on our home phone, is it possible to call one of these CA to request their address without them picking up the #? What about cell phone blocking with *67? I tried using a calling card & a public pay phone but these folks (??law firm) do not allow those calls to go through so I'm guessing they are trying to "capture" the number. I am unable to pay my Cash America payday loan (in Texas). I have one charge already to my bank for a returned fee. Should I close the bank account?I can not pay since I had lost my job and am not working full time like I had been. I have contacted the company via email about paying 25.00 every two weeks? Is there anything else I can do? What legal actions can be taken in Texas?

I have not given permissio9n to anyone from this organization to debit $50.00 out of my account. Please return my funds IMMEDIATEDLY or my attorney will be contacting you shortly for wire fraud, and theft. A stop payment will be put on this transaction, you will not take monies out of my account without my permission, and I do not desire your services at all.

I was told that the Fair Debt Collections Act applies only to third party collectors and not to the original creditor. I have read through it and don't see that. Can someone shed some light on this. If I get a call from some person saying I owe him a lot more than I think I do. Do I not have the right to have that debt validated? Also does that mean he can harrass me because he is the "original lender?" It does not sound logical to me.

Hello, Looking for some guidance. I sent a debt settlement letter to Sears/CBSD, CMRR, at the address on my credit report. It has been 30 days since they received the letter, and they have not responded back. I am asking for update to the account as paid,removal of all negative TL, or alternatively a deletion of the account. Now I am ready to send the cashier's check. Since I have not had a response, I have the following questions: 1. Should I send the cashier's check to the same address on my credit report? 2.

Have been persistant in contacting me of a loan that has been paid off....I have requested they delete all personal informations regarding my account, they have submitted dummy checks...I have submitted an investigation to the BBB, submitted affidavits to my bank..and it looks as though I may have to request to change account numbers....too much hassle....and this is an agency whom's speech is not primarily English.

Who are these pieces of s**t. I cannot beleive that this is happenning andf that this company can still do this. I am not sure why nobody has put a stop to this. I want my money back also.
