Can the collection agencies follow debtors in other countries?

If someone moves out of U.S. will the negative marks in Credit Report get off eventually? Or some other rules are there for such cases?

Is there any way to get an older copy of my credit report?

I need some advice on Credit Repair, lots of negative entries have made it ugly. I just don't know how to remove them. Some of them are not valid also.

Hi, I've had a Bank of America (BOA) credit card for some time now, not sure exactly how long, atleast a few years though. I managed to rack up a pretty high debt on it, about $8,000. After my employer, Media Play, closed last year, I went through some difficult times and was not able to pay my minimum balance for several months.

I have to say this is pretty pathetic. After telling AIP, I don't want a loan with them, (applied last year, never took it). They have started calling me again, leaving messages on my voice mail telling me they are going to continue to call me. I'm getting a kick out of this actually, I don't take their calls, I get enjoyment out of listening to them and their "We're going to keep calling". Cracks me up. Smells of desparation. :D

All right, I have to say that the last 7-10 days have been very rough on me with the personal attacks and negative trend that this board is turning to. I came here to help anyone I could using prior knowledge or research. I do not have the problems most of our community have. I have been accused of exceeding my authority and of having a holier than thou attitude. I do not feel that my authority as a mod was abused in any way.The only time I get real negative and mean is when members or the board is under attack.

I happened upon this website as I was at the end of my rope. I currently have 13 payday loans. Most got paid their allotted amount this month, but three will bounce. Unfortunately, those are the three I most wanted to pay. Anyway, the loans are eating up my paycheck and I can't close my account at this time. I also got scammed this week when I applied for a loan from a place according to the BBB doesn't exist. I am more than likely out $1100 to them. I would like to hope that I will get it back but need to be realistic.
