Once a credit card debt has been turned over to an attorney's office, do
debt consolidation companies have any recourse, or any "inroads" to helping reduce, shrink, pay down, etc., on the amount due?
I have a $14,000 CC debt that, honestly, I have NO WAY of repaying in its entirety. Yet that is the picture one credit firm (Arrow Financial) told me the legal firm (Mann Bracken, out of Atlanta) will approach -- full payback, no installemtns or paydowns.
And advice? Am I screwed?
