Help - I just had two debits taken out of my account from Ambassador Collections aka Nationwide cash. The man there said I had taken out a payday loan in february 2006 and then defaulted. I did not. My ex-boyfriend may have (i lived in a very abusive relationship that I have since escaped from and have tried to start a brand new life). They attached a different bank account (different bank) and told me the6y have every right to do so.

This company debited 49.95 from my checking account. Who are they?? I did not authorize them to take any money from my account. The phone number attached to the debit 866 379 5984, I tried calling it and there is nothing, no dial tone no ringing or anything.

I borrowed 425.00 from these people and to date they have taken 997.50 from my account. My bank tells me they can not stop them from taking the money because they could change their name and take it again. I have called them and told them they are not to debit any more money from my account but they keep on doing it. How can I stop it and get my money back?

Westbury Ventures....Need help I got a payday loan from them back in late summer/early fall of 2005. I got in over my head with several payday loan companies. My checking account was closed due to overdrafts. I was out of work for over half of 2006. Starting back in late fall of 2006 I started getting emails from a lady at Westbury Ventures. Now I'm getting on average 2-3 a day. They range from threats to "special offers". I emailed her and told her that I could pay 25-50 a month because I didn't get paid all that much at work.

I don't understand how CACH can file suit against me if i've never recieved anything from them. Besides 2 telephone calls i've recieved i've NEVER recieved anything by mail from them. I sent a letter of validation back in November of 2005 and never heard back from them until recieving a citation in July of 2006. (although i did NOT send validation certified, i do however, have a copy of it) How are we expected to pay if I've NEVER recieved a bill or anything else for that matter?

Did anyone hear of the Clemsor Dean Group (CDG)? I ran across them on the Internet and wonder if they're a scam?

I am a 22 year old nurse who graduated 6 months ago. I have been working since 10 days after I received my license. I have always worked and worked hard at everything I do. I have had some trouble :cry: since I started school relying on credit cards for really paying my way through school and all the financial "pop-ups" :!: :!: that come along with it. i have hit some bumps since graduating and my parents telling me that I needed to move out and not being able to pay my bills in the mean time.

These nuts called me at work this morning 4-5 times in and hour. The guy... John would not give me a mailing address phone number or anything. I was very nice and cordial to him and told him I would be willing to work with him if I knew who and what I owed for he just kept saying I need to pay 275.00 via moneygram or electronic check. (This was a payday loan I took out when my mom had a check... I can't even remember the company.) I continued to be cordial and he called me a deadbeat, and a loser and said I was not qualified to do my job!!! What can I do?

Sorry if this is a stupid question... :oops: If all the PDLs I have are internet loans, these companies must comply with my state laws on payday loans, correct? Also, if I search my states database of lenders that are legally licensed and do NOT find one of my lenders on there, what happens???
