I left college USC in 2000 - my father retired from the USMC after 20 years - we moved to Texas - I've got the student loans - and some other random stuff from an apartment I had...I have a stable job now and my car is almost paid off so I am trying to build my credit back up - I am thinking about getting a house. This month I have recieved 2 calls from a ken hughes (affiliated with a collection agency) stating that i owe several hundreds of dollars due from a supposed Visa card from 1998 - they are reporting they "bought" the contract through lvnv and are collecting a debt - I do not have nor have had a credit card through them - they are stating that i made a payment back in 1999 leaving hundreds of dollars left owed - where do i even begin to research something like this? I would imagine I would have recieved something in the mail pertaining to such a debt and or Visa company.....

I took a class in High School that taught how to budget and manage your money. However, I got credit cards anyhow. I was fine until I took a job as an IO careprovider, and it did not work out for one reason or another (I was not getting PAID! :x) So, I had to start over. So I became a waitress, and had to rely on people's generousity, which in the majority is not very kind. After that I found other employment but by the time I did it was too late.

It is four months later and withdrawals are still being taken on some payday loans I took out in a panic. I've been trying to track them down and get them paid off, but by the time I do that, they've collected way more than the value of the loan. I am still trying to track down Debt Dr./Magnum Z llc, as another $90 was just taken from my account yesterday and this should have been paid off last month. Does anyone have a website for Magnum Z? There must be something, because this is how I first applied for the loan.

Well I'm not the one having much luck at all here. Got an email back from these people just a second ago. And here I am once again at a complete loss as how to respond back. I'm quickly losing faith. Thing is I've already paid them $450.00 on a $300.00 loan. Now if I'm understanding what I read, Arkansas law says that I should have to pay back what I borrowed plus 10% which would make it $330.00. So have I not already overpaid them by $120.00? Heck, I didn't ask for a refund just that my account be marked PIF.

I am having to get insurance on my own now since I no longer have any and I cannot afford the cobra insurance. I have been looking at some and the Health Savings accounts look good and I am really leaning towards those. Can someone give me the good, the bad and the ugly on these and help explain to me how they work. Melissa

i got the letter to and fax it back a young lady call me back and told me i would get a 3 page contact with my account # i call the 4056161111 and let a messgae he call me two time one he left a mess and two i talk to him and sent the money he said when he got it that he would call me back as soon as he got it still waiting

I have a judgement for $7,000 against me that an ex-girlfriend is claiming I borrowed from her. No one notified me to make arrangements for payment and all of a sudden she put a levy on my wifes account. Can she really be held repsonsible? Do I have any legal rights?
