Damaging things in my credit

18 years 11 months ago
I am currently trying to buy a house, however there are some damaging things on my credit. There is one judgement on there that has been paid. The other things are small, and I want to pay them and get them off my credit so I can buy a house. I am currently deployed to Iraq and will be here for a year. I want to clear up my credit while I am over here. The best way to contact me is by email. Thank you for your help.

Just 5 things

Suddenly you receive a phone call from a good friend and she says that she is coming to your city to spend few days with you! What are the places you would like to take her so that she falls in love with your town? Let’s share 5 such things about your city/state! :D Simon

They do not want you to know this.

I have had many debts forgiven or paid off by collection agencies. Of course, settlements include confidentialitiy clauses so I cannot mention specifics. However, there is not one colleciton agency I know that follows the federal or Texas law. Your state law may be different, but keep reading. If legal, recordings are one of the best forms of evidence. Next, statements from relatives or coworkers who take calls from debt collectors can be very helpfull. In the end I find most debt collectors deny everything except for what you have recorded.

$40,000 in the hole, should I refiance my house??

18 years 11 months ago
My wife got a hold of my credit card, as well as 3 she got (She is a stay at home Mom). She rang up around $35,000 in credit card debt, in just about 2 years. Ok Maybe I did $5000 of it. Anyway, I owe $87,000 on my home which is worth around $160,000 now. Would it be better to refiance and pay that all off even though closing cost ECT.. would run around $$4000 ?? Or would the Consolidation route be a better way?? Also, as I have read, MANY debt companies are scammers, what are good ones, and it this Debt consildation care legit?? Thnk you in advance.

Behind in bill

I lost my job before Thanksgiving it took me three months to get a new one. I didn't get any unemployment because the state agreed with my previous employer. So I took a seasonal job for the holidays and that didn't help me. I am more the 60 days late on some of my credit card bills because I needed to make my car payment so they wouldn't repo my car so that I could have it to get to my new job. I also have to pay my rent. My bils I owe are as follow: I have been receiving collections calls at all hours and all days of the week including at work.

Tried of bad credit

18 years 11 months ago
I am currently experiencing debt and it can be a burden everyday. I just recently purchased a new car and the interest definitely shows with the debt that I have. My debt comes from opening accounts paying on time at first and eventually not paying on time. I just want to be debt free once and for all.
