I got into the whole payday loan mess. My bank decided last week to close our account due to too many overdrafts. They closed it on Tuesday, but still took the check that was direct deposited on Friday.Can the do that? They didn't even bother to tell us, they just closed it. I am glad it is closed, because the loan companies can no longer get to our money, but now I have no way to cash or deposit checks. I don't know if I can even open a new account anywhere. Anyone have any good advice or suggestions?

Anyone have any idea how to get off of a collectors auto dailer. Anyone know who this number belongs to Alabama 205-752-7762, they keep calling, don't know who they are or what they want. They don't leave a message, so I assume it is a auto dailer.

Guys as many of you all know I havent been on a lot lately. I have been having problems with my kids health. Anyway I will be on here as much as I can but not a whole lot anymore. My summer will probably be spent at University of VA. With my youngest son. He has been diagnosed with Hirsprungs Disease which is pretty bad. I mostly need your all prayers. I havent been on in a few days so I dont know if anyone has posted this. On CNBC last night a commercial aired telling people about payday loans saying to only use them as a short term loan. It was cautioning that this can lead to a cycle of debt. Just thought I would see if anybody else has seen it? KYSIDE38

I want to consolidate all of my credit cards to one low monthly payment. my fiance and I split and I used my credit cards to make ends meet.

Do you have any recommended companies that I could apply for a debt consolidation loan with? I do not own a home and my credit is fair. I had a bankruptcy about 6 years ago due to a divorce. Please advise.

My daughters 13th birthday was on the 20th, so we were going to have her a party last night. At first she wanted a sleepover with 5 girls but then asked could she have a party with boys and only girls spending the night. Well, we agreed and she invited 5 boys and 5 girls for the party. I get things bought and yesterday the weather was awful. We were under tornado watches all day, so we figure no one was going to come. She wanted some cake so we get into it in the afternoon. 4:45 one girl calls she is getting ready to come she gets there at 5:30. One boy comes at 6:00 and that was it.
