I foolishly got 8 internet loans. Have paid on some but still owe on some but was told by my bank to close out account and work out arrangements to pay remainder? I am working with one that is great. The others have started to call. One called my law office while I was out and disclosed everything to my HR person and I work at a law firm so you know how embarrassed I was. The person that called threatened me with federal charges if I didn't send the money right away. I foolisly Money Grammed $300 and he told me to put down Crown Lending as the reference which is one of the companies.

Anybody know of any?

I read in this forum that United Cash Loans is not licensed to lend money in any state. What does that mean for me now that I have borrowed from them?

I am new here. Has anyone had any dealings with United Bay Services out of Jacksonville,FL? They claim that they handle accounts for 3-Midland Market and 8-Crown Lending. However, they called my office and spoke with my employer while I was out and told them everything about my account and have threatened me with federal charges. I would like to deal with the 2 above companies directly to work out a payment. I don't owe them but $80 more but have closed out my checking account based on the Bank of America indicating me to do so. What can be done and what are my rights?

I'm dealing w/United Cash Loans right now and they are awful. They call me at work multiple times a day every day and even after I request them to stop calling me at work, they refuse. Since they are the original debtor what can I do?

An old neighbor passed on a phone number to me from "lawyers" requesting a call back. I called the toll free # from work & gave only my name. The person said they had a account from a store opened in 1995 & last paid on in 1999. I do have a paper at home with an account number from this store; however it is not on my credit report & is probably past the SOL. The man said the account was about $300 & with interest was $500. He also said the account had gone to "3 collectiom agencies" & wanted to set up payments "in case we go to court we can show the account is paid".

Can someone recommend to me a good consolidation company? I was with one that didn't do their job and kept taking "fees" not agreed to. When I signed up for this forum, all I got was a heavy pressure sales call. I have three credit cards that I cannot pay down because they keep charging me over the limit fees and 25% interest. I really need some help. I'm currently working three part-time jobs, two as an independent contractor and one as an employee. If I get sued, can they try to garnish my wage if I'm an independent contractor? If they did, I'd probably lose the job. Thanks!

Purchased recliner chair from major department store on deferred billing arrangement using store credit card. Store arranged for delivery. After delivery, discovered defects in chair, and returned next day myself. Intake person examined chair, and acknowleged defects, and said my account would be credited. Three months later store billed me for delivery and restocking fee. I advised by letter to them that chair was returned as defective. They apparently didn't care, and continued to bill me.

I have a few internet loans, and I definitely overpaid on most of them. Does anyone have a suggestion of how I can get my refund? Do you call them directly, or send a letter? What kind of facts do I put in the letter- amount I paid total, the Indiana payday loan code, etc.? I just want to get this cleared up so I can start my life again! Thank you!

I am a former member of the military who in a sense got stuck with a lot of the debt from my previous marrage. I have horrible cridit because I can not get myself out of this credit card debt. Ijust bought a home and am looking at reselling and buying a bigger home but this debt is killing my credit. I need help. Thank you
