I got yet another unavailable call that shows up on whocalledus as PBA. Anyone hear of that one?

I had to close my bank account due to some check fraud happening. I called some of PDL companies i have loans through to tell them and they basically said too bad. Now i have defualted on the loans and they're calling saying something about putting me on a tele-track ? and contacting mayroll to garnish my wages? i can't pay them off right now. WHat can they do really to collect these? and what can i do? i live in minnesota. They call all day everyday, my cell phone and my work... i can't have this happening. what should i do.

This number just called my house. A web search came up with Buckeye Equity, but I don't know them. I called the number back and got a very stern sounding voicemail box that said "Leave the area code and number you were called at. If you don't leave the area code, your call will not be returned. This call was important and I suggest you leave a message" Anybody know who this is?

I got an e-mail soliciting a loan from this company called E-Z money loan guide private organization loans.. on t he bottom of it is yesdebtfee.org... like they are associated with this site,, they want funds transfered western union to Nigeria and claim they are legit... I wrote back that I doubted that etc. and got a really snotty e-mail from them threatening to sue me.. any info will probably help others too

I'm in the process of cleaning my credit report. I just printed the most current report and found midland credit management with Verizon as the account. I also have Verizon showing up seperately. Who do I contact first? Whom do I dispute? I'm almost sure that one of the Verizons belongs to me. Do I dispute? or do I try to negotiate a deal with them to take all 4 actions off my report? Also, what doe it mean when on my report appears Charge Off? Thanks

Ladies, You all are a godsend! I called Arrowhead Investments at 866-355-7308 as suggested. I had a $300 payday loan with them and have paid $1080 so far. I was told the $90 was a refinance fee (which I knew) and that I still owed the $300. After asking for the the debt validation letter a manager got on the phone and told me that the debt was considered paid in full and she is going to send the validation letter and the paid in full letter to me via email. I still reported them to the BBB of Kansas and the FTC asking for a refund of all monies overpaid.

I was 3 months behind on my car payments. Unfortunately, the loan is only 6 months old. I called earlier this week to try and make some sort of arrangements. The woman I spoke with was a real B**CH. I told her I could afford $500.00 right now and that I would like to make arrangements for the rest. First, she was being impossible and said she had to have the full past due amount before she hung up the phone or repossession procedures would be started. I explained my situation, about losing my job unexpectedly, of course, and that I now have a new job.

i am purchasing a car through third party. i have been buying this car now since november 2005. recently me and the guy i got the car from went to the DMV to buy a tag for the car and get the car put in my name. while we were there the lady at the desk said I could not get the car tranfered into my name because the car had a "lien" on it when i asked him about it he informed me that the reason the car had a lien was because it was not paid off. i was confused but did not push the issue. My question is what does this legally mean?
