I called Langhorne and they only consolidate internet PDL's. All of mine are storefront loans. I'm in Arizona. I'm in over my head with 9! Are there any companies that can help me with storefronts? Does T&C negotiate with storefronts? If so how do I get in touch with them? If not what should I do??? I'm due next friday and I can't take it any more!!!

Without going into too much of the hard luck story, I need some advice on what to do next. Spouse has a student loan (more than 10 years old). Financial problems that lead to Chapter 7. Subsequently, the student loan went into default. It has now been turned over to Van Run for collection. Other factors include: $23k debt to IRS, Child support and arrearages (previous marriage), two pre-school aged children, do not own home (rent). No savings account.

My mom got home today and there was a message on her answering machine saying to call a certain phone number immediately saying something had happened to her son and daughter-in-law, and used their names. SHe called the number and they said that they were a collection agency and started yelling at her saying that they have been waiting a long time to talk to her. I mean she was scared out of her mind, she thought they were dead. I mean she got a call like that a few years ago when my other brother died, so she was pretty scared. Is this illegal? To hurt someone like that over $200 is crazy.
