im 24 yrs old...and owe 4 different credit card companies money,,, ....im guessing i owe between 2500 - 3500 dollars......i heard debt consolidation could help lower some of those settlements.......and help me repair my credit....i will be leaving for iraq in less then 5 months and i want to take care of this before i leave......i was wondering if you could help

I just got my credit report and I see that I have a charge off on a Verizon Wireless Account that I dont remember opening. I dont know who I can talk to because there isnt any number to call. If it says charge off then why is it still on my credit report?

my friend had to 2 collection agencies take like $4,700 out of her account on the same day. she's not working because she just got into a car accident. she was paying them every month. is there anything she can do???

I would just like to inform anyone that is dealing with any of these companies, which are all affiliated, that I have a new address for sending a wage revocation letter. A lady in my payroll dept that deals specifically with court-ordered garnishments and Ch 13 payments, called me today and left me a message on my cell, letting me know that she had received a phone call from someone wanting a payment sent to them asap. Once I listened to the message, I knew exactly what company this was. She knew all about the situation b/c I sent her my wage revocation letter a couple of months ago.

This company, called Cash Today won't leave me alone. They claim I owe them money, but I have never heard of them!! They are calling me at work and harrassing me! Now, some "Ola" is calling and threatening me from 208-492-2780. I have already contacted the BBB and no luck :?

Problem 1: yesterday at work WAMU collection agency called at work but i was on lunch...is that legal for them to be calling me at my work? problem 2: about a year ago...i was written a check for a LARGE amount. i did not know it was fraudulent. my WAMU account is still down in the hole. i had a police report of that person who wrote me the check. i sent WAMU an affidavit and they denied it.. what should be my next step? i shouldnt pay for someone's stupidity. please help. i dont know what to do about this.

Those of using a debt settlement company; have your credit card companies sued you during the payment process? And has anyone finished a settlement and actually had their credit score restored?

I am dealing with USA payday and they have contacted my employer can they do this?
