Everybody dont forget to claim on your taxes the telephone tax its from 30 to 60 dollars and if you have the actually receipts you can claim more. Its for overage on long distance calls. If you have 4 people its $60.00. Every little bit helps. KYSIDE38

How should I go about paying off my debt? I owe 30,000$. 8 diffrent credit cards. Most of them are in the write off stage. I havent payed on them for over a year now. I just came arcoss enough money to start paying them back. What would be the best why to pay them back?? I would like my credit score to go up asap. Should I settle, an pay less then I owe?? Or should I pay in full???

I've never been big on saving my money. As quick as it came in it wen't right on out again. For some reason I have never been responsible with money. I left a very unhappy marriage not too long ago & swore I was gonna do this, swore I was not gonna spend money like I had it. I established credit for myself which everyone told me to & as quick as I established it I ruined it. Right now I am $10,000 in debt and I cant breathe. What should I do? How do I get out of debt? Hello to all, this is my first post here. I am 36 years old and over the years have used credit cards to "live" off of due ot the lack of money. Now the cards are up high and it's getting hard to make the minimum payments. I am trying ot work on getting our by myself without using help but it's very slow going. I recieved a call at work from Jackson Phillips, I advised them I could not discuss the issue at work and asked them to call. They in turn called my home number and disclosed my information to my mother in law. I called the number given to me when I got off work and advised them I would gladly make payments to them and asked for them to send me something in writing with the payment amounts, they advised me they were calling the Bell County Sheriffs Department and I would have a warrant put out for me. I asked for an address and they hung up on me. Do you have any information on them?

Afternoon Bloggers, Like many, i have bad credit, due to bad choices and poor money management. I have been denied bank accounts in the past due to these mistakes. Today i came across something i thought would be helpful to many of us. Its a second chance legitimate Bank that will take bad credit people regardless of chex systems or telecheck. Finally! I am at a point where I can start paying off debt on my credit report. If the debts are 4-5 yrs old, should I negotiate for a smaller pay off balance? Should I get in writing that they are either going to remove, or list "Paid" or "Pays as Agreed" on my report?
