I don't have a debt problem, unfortunately my husband and I are getting divorced and he has maxed every credit card he could get his hands on and now is filling bankruptcy. I have two problems relating to this. The creditors have gotten ahold of my telephone number at my new home and repeatly call even though I tell them he does not live here, never has and never will. I also tell them I do not wish to have contact with him. I tell them very clearly to STOP CALLING. They KEEP calling. The second situation deals with two credit cards I cancelled, one in both our names, one in just mine.

There are so many mail services when sending letters through regular mail (USPS)…Registered Mail, Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation, Restricted Delivery, Return Receipt, Certified Mail, etc. Which should I use when sending a debt verification letter to a creditor? Please explain why. Thanks!

I recently sent off via mail to have my credit reports sent to my home. I filled out the standard form to have all 3 bureaus send me a copy. Two of the reports arrived, but the 3rd report said that they couldn't identify me and want me to send them a copy of two types of identification. One is something with my SSN on it and the other with my address. Is this common? If it is, makes you wonder how they know to put certain things on my report in the first place. Budmas

I have been reading many questions & answers and have learned a lot from your members. I am 43, single mom of 4yr old twins, one job, etc..I am basically 6 mo behind on all my bills and do not know where to begin to start making payments. Three main ones are threating me and am getting letters from Bronson & Migliaccio and also J A Cambece Law Office. Anybody out there they can give me some suggestions? I owe on 2 accounts with Bronson: $1156 and $1246 and with Cambece $1150. HELP!

to whom it may concern, i am only 19 years old, i was going through a rough period in my life, so i handled it the only way i knew how... spending money. i bought a bunch of pointless things that i have nothing to show for, and now i cant even open a bank account. i work as a CNA and have for many years, i make $10.00 an hour starting the 1st of next month. i work monday through friday for 6 hours each day, and every other saturday. i have many illness that cause me to miss alot of work. i live with my wife emily. i am the onyl one employeed, and i pay all the bills.
