Does this company consolidate debt so you can have one monthly payment

Can I settle my own debt or do I have to go through a settle?

This is a letter i received from the state of oklahoma department of consumer credit it was sent to both companies and myself...i live in illinois..sorry did not have a scanner to scan document

I had posted a letter yesterday. Thank you all for the quick response. I was asked exactly how much I have already paid to GFS, I originally took the loan out for $200. I have paid $274.00 total....I want to know if I can get them to stop calling me at work. I don't want to have everyone at my office to know my business. Is there a letter or something that can get them to stop harrassing me? They are saying that I still owe $270.00 from the first original loan.

This is kind of an extension of a post a made a week or so ago. I have a CA called CBCS trying to collect for Asset Acceptance who is trying to collect for Southwestern Bell. I sent a validation letter to CBCS and requested documentation of the original account. To be honest, who would be the original account as far as this situation goes? Or who is it legally according to the FTC? I just want to make sure for/if they respond with any information. Thanks. Budmas

Hi, I made an account settlement with MRS Collection agency and Now that I have another person calling me about they account from the same company. What can I do about this? They are saying that they account was not settle for they amount that I told them but I made my payment by check.

I just checked my CR and noticed that there is 2 entries on it from the same creditor?? What should I do?? Is it ok to leave both of them or should I dispute one??

Has anyone ever filed a complaint on them? If so, anyone know where I cant get the website? They are not even in this Country? Thanks so much!

On 1/8/07 I got a call from them. A rude woman said there was several Affidavits on me and that I was being "downloaded" in my county. What does that mean? I was told to have my lawyer call them back. I called back after I calmed down and they wouldnt give me the name of the company OR what this was concerning? Any advice? Thanks!

Can anyone give me some advice on them? I took out a loan for 150.00 several months ago. I have been paying the 59.00 fee over and over. I am SURE I have paid more then the original amount. Everytime I call them I get a man that cant speak English. They are going to take out another 59.00 fee and I just dont have the money. They will NOT work with me and have threatened to call my employer. I did not recieve any paperwork. They did I guess record the conversation when they verified all my info. What should I do? Thanks
